How to Place a Chase Limit Order

Step 1: Log into your Bybit account, visit the trading page and select the symbol you wish to trade.

Step 2: Select Chase Limit Orders.

Step 3: Select your Chase Price and fill in the Order by Quantity or Order by Value. Set up the maximum chase distance or Trigger Price, if required. Currently, the Chase Interval is set at one second.

Note:

- Please ensure that your account has a sufficient balance to successfully place your order.

- When placing orders by value, the actual executed value may be slightly lower than the input value due to rounding during value-to-quantity conversion.

Once submitted, the order placed will be labeled as Chase Limit Orders on the Chart to differentiate it from other limit or market orders.

How to Update Limit Order Price Using the Chase Feature

You can update your limit order price with just one tap from the Open Orders tab. Tap Chase to adjust your order to the current best price — your buy order will move to the best bid, or your sell order will move to the best ask.

Once updated, your order will be placed at the front of the queue, helping you enter the market faster.

Please note that if the market moves too quickly, the best bid or best ask price set by Chase may become less favorable than the current market price. In this case, your limit order may be executed as a taker order. If Post-Only is enabled on your limit order, your order will be cancelled to prevent it from being executed as a taker order.

How to View Your Chase Limit Orders

Select Orders or Tools tab to view your current Chase Limit Orders.

To view the executed or canceled Chase Limit Orders, go to Order History or Tools History, and you will see the Chase Limit Orders with a Chase label.
